Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot didn’t qualify for the final of the Challenger international tournament held in Karshi town of Uzbekistan. He was beaten 6-4, 6-4 by the top favorite of the competition Dudi Sela of Israel, who ranks 74th in the world, IPN reports.
In the quarterfinals, Radu Albot defeated his former mate of the national team Maxim Dubarenco, who now represents Belarus. Albot needed three sets to win, 7-6, 2-6, 6-1.
Albot occupies the 143rd position in the ATP rankings. Last year, he became the first Moldovan tennis player who entered the rankings of the top 100 players.
