Enkeleda Merkuri, the Ambassador of Albania to the Republic of Moldova with residence in Bucharest, presented copies of her accreditation letters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On this occasion, the new ambassadress held talks with State Secretary of the MFA Sergiu Mihov, IPN reports.

During the meeting, the diplomats mentioned the need for closer communication between the business circles of the two countries, which would contribute to increasing and diversifying trade.

They also discussed the readiness of both sides to continue cooperation in international organizations and to coordinate efforts in the process of European integration, including through mutual support in regional initiatives and projects of common interest.

The Secretary of State wished Ambassador Enkeleda Merkuri every success and assured her of the full support of the Moldovan authorities in the full exercise of her mandate.
