Air traffic disrupted by ash cloud
Three Air Moldova planes took off with delay from the Chisinau International Airport. The passengers had to wait for many hours in the airport, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Delays of two hours and a half to four hours were experienced on the flights to Vienna (Austria) and Istanbul (Turkey) and the charter route to Heraklion (Greece).
Representatives of Air Moldova said the delays were caused by the ash cloud coming from the Icelandic volcano, which grounded planes in many countries.
