The state-run airline Air Moldova is to be reorganized and privatized by the end of this year, said Tudor Copaci, director general of the Economy Ministry’s Public Property Agency, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”Now that the airspace is liberalized, it will be hard for this company to cope with the competition. That’s why the Public Property Agency considers that Air Moldova should be first transformed into a joint stock company and then privatized. This will enable to attract investments,” Tudor Copaci told a news conference. He also said that the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure should be entrusted with the task of designing the business plan for potential investors. This company will not be competitive if it does not attract foreign investments.
