Air Moldova airline suspended all the flights to and from the Republic of Moldova following the authorities’ decision to close the Moldovan airline until March 4, IPN reports.

“We ask you to keep calm and to follow the official reports. We will additionally inform about the possibility of resuming flights,” the airline said in a message.

In a move to avoid risks to civilian flights in connection with the developments close to the national borders, the senior administration instructed the Civil Aviation Authority to close the Moldovan airspace. The flights going to Chisinau will be redirected to Iasi, it is said on the Government’s Facebook page. The decision started to be applied at midday.
