A man aged 35 from Farladeni village of Causeni district died from complications associated with the flu virus AH1N1. The man died in the hospital in Causeni town on March 7, but the presence of the virus was confirmed in the evening of March 9. This is the 11th case of death recorded so far this year, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, 65 new cases of flu were identified on March 9, on the decrease compared with the previous Monday, when there were recorded 105 cases.
The number of clinical cases of flu rose to 1,183, while of acute upper respiratory tract infections to 163,012.
