The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry tabled a project to simplify the procedure for importing oil products. “We proposed increasing the number of border crossing points for oil products,” said Minister of Agriculture Valeriu Cosarciuc, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “We consider the importers should be spared from the obligation to have oil tanks. We also proposed reducing the minimum capital required for the companies that want to obtain an import license and sell oil products,” Valeriu Cosarciuc said. According to the minister, the proposed amendments will stimulate the small importers of oil products. The project was submitted to the relevant ministries and institutions for approval. Prime Minister Vlad Filat instructed examining and approving it as soon as possible.
