Agricultural census this year will cost over 93m lei
Census takers will be employed for the agricultural census that will be carried out this year. They will fill out forms after collecting information from farms occupying up to ten hectares, fruit-growing associations and other organizations that own up to ten hectares of farmland, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision.
The data about the legal entities, farms that are over 10 hectares in area and other companies and organizations for whom farming is a secondary activity will be collected by self-registration, under the direct guidance of the person responsible for census in the local statistics office.
The national commission for the general agricultural census will set the census taking terms, while the National Bureau of Statistics will process the data and publish and disseminate the results of the census.
The general agricultural census will cover the farmland, animals and other assets. It will be taken at a cost of 93.7 million lei, 19.2 million lei of which will be allocated from the budget, while 74.5 million lei will represent foreign donations.
