Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi signed an agreement in Kyiv with Ukrainian Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi on the mutual recognition of scientific diplomas and titles between Moldova and Ukraine, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the new agreement will facilitate professional and educational mobility between both countries, providing better opportunities for students and teachers. Teachers from Ukraine will be able to teach in Moldovan schools, and those from Moldova will have access to more opportunities for cooperation in Ukraine.

The agreement will also support the faster integration of Ukrainian refugees into the Moldovan education system, through the recognition of their diplomas, and will contribute to the diversification of teaching staff in an increasingly demanding educational context, the Ministry noted in a press release.
