Agreement on reciprocal assistance in emergencies to be signed with Hungary

The Cabinet approved the signing of an agreement on cooperation and reciprocal assistance in emergencies between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Hungary, IPN reports.

The agreement will help ensure the exchange of experience, information and good practices in disaster prevention and management. There will be staged common exercises to teach how to react in emergencies and how to remove their effects. Other provisions concerning cooperation between the sides envision the organization of conferences, fact-finding visits, scientific programs and professional courses.

The Republic of Moldova signed bilateral agreements on cooperation and provision of reciprocal assistance in emergencies with Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia and Ukraine.
