The Cabinet of Ministers approved the signing of the agreement with the government of Finland on mutual assistance and cooperation in the customs field.

"The agreement will be a tool for strengthening the economic and commercial relations of the signatory states, through mutual assistance and cooperation between the customs administrations in the matter of preventing and combating customs violations, which can harm these relations", the bill's informative note said.

The Republic of Moldova has concluded a similar multilateral agreement within the World Customs Organization and another 25 bilateral agreements with EU and CIS states.
