The opening of the air market of the Republic of Moldova and diversification of the destinations of the Chisinau International Airport, by facilitating access to the market in North America, can become possible soon. The Cabinet approved the signing of an agreement on air transport between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the United States, IPN reports.
“Together with the signing of this agreement, we can have direct flights from Chisinau to the United States. I hope they will become available as swiftly as possible,” said Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
According to him, the document for the first time will regulate the relations of cooperation in the air transport sector between the two states. Its implementation does not necessitate state budget funds.
