An attacker wanted to kill his victim by car. Evelina Rusu, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened at the intersection of Titulecu and Pandurilor streets in Chisinau's Botanica district on Tuesday evening. A young man came to the aid of his brother, who was being attacked by several individuals. At that moment, one of the aggressors got onto the car and tried to crush him. The man was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with a concussion and a fracture of the left shank bones. A 16-year-old girl and another one aged one year and two months escaped death after they inhaled carbon monoxide. They were sleeping in a room of a villa in Byk village of the municipality of Chisinau. The elder girl felt the smoke and alerted the parents, who called the ambulance. The girls were taken to the Mother and Child Center. A woman gave birth to a baby girl in the house. They both feel fine, but were admitted to the maternity hospital. A man aged 41 was discovered dead in his apartment. According to the first examinations, the man died suddenly from a cardiovascular disease. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service recorded 788 calls, dealing with 46 cases of viral infection, 11 cases of flu, 68 cases of trauma, four strokes, 14 acute coronary syndromes and 21 deliveries.
