The authorities of Drochia district intend to open a rehabilitation center that will aim to make the aggressors “better and more understanding”, the district’s head Ion Nicorovici said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “We have rehabilitation centers for victims of violence, not yet for aggressors that want to rectify their behavior and need the assistance of a specialist. Such a center is needed in order not to allow the continuation of violence in families,” Nicorovici told the reporters who paid a fact-finding visit to the district. According to the district head, the rehabilitation center for aggressors must be opened outside the law enforcement bodies so that the beneficiaries are not afraid. Ion Nicorovici said that about 2 million lei is needed to implement the project.
