The State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI) has unveiled the programme of activities for the 2006 World Intellectual Property Day marked on April 26. On this occasion, AGEPI will organise thematic exhibitions dedicated to the World Intellectual Property Day at public and university libraries in the Chisinau municipality and in the country. AGEPI notes that the programme includes seminars, symposiums, roundtables, contests, radio and TV broadcasts. According to the programme, the series of events dedicated to the World Intellectual Property Day started on March 16 with a book exhibition within the scientific symposium themed Library of Moldova. Also, the totals were announced and the winners of the AGEPI-held republican contest Public Library – Partner in Promoting Intellectual Property were awarded. Economic agents based in the northern region of Moldova are welcome to attend a seminar themed Trademark and Brand in Business Development Strategy on April 7. The programme will close on April 26 with a solemn sitting dedicated to the World Intellectual Property Day on April 26. The motto of the 2006 World Intellectual Property Day is Intellectual Property Starts from Idea.
