Agarista Anenii Noi came into possession of the Women’s Football Cup of Moldova 2017-2018. In the final, the team trained by Iurie Purice beat CS Noroc 2-1, IPN reports.

Agarista led by 2-0 owing to the goals screed by Ludmila Caraman (12th min.) and Tatiana Gherghelijiu (78th). The final scoreline was set by Daniela Mardari in the last minute after transforming an 11-meter kick.

“We played against a young and ambitious team. It was important to score and later the game was at our discretion,” Agarista coach Iurie Purice told a news conference.
