Agarista Anenii Noi started off their Champions League campaign on the wrong foot, losing 0-2 to Estonia’s Parnu JK in the first qualifying round of Group 8, IPN reports.

The goals were scored by Bannikova (49th minute) and Tulp (66th). On August 10, Agarista will clash with the competition’s hosts, SFK Sarajevo from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The last round of the groups stage is scheduled for August 13. The Anenii Noi team will play Vllaznia Shkoder from Albania.

The winners of each of the ten groups and two top runners-up will qualify for the playoffs stage.
