After two years of the coronavirus pandemic, children and teenagers will again be able to enjoy rest and recreation in summer camps. According to a project approved by the Government, the reference cost of one day in the camps will be 310 lei, and in daycare-type ones 243 lei.

The National Social Insurance Company’s budget for organizing the rest of children and adolescents includes nine million lei, and the Ministry of Education’s budget 1.3 million lei.

A further 87.3 million lei will be transferred for this purpose from the State Budget to the local budgets. Local authorities may contribute additional funds from their own resources.

Within the limits of the expenditures budgeted for this year, the Ministry of Education will purchase tickets for pupils from general education institutions in the eastern districts of the Republic of Moldova and the city of Bender, as well as for refugee children from Ukraine.
