After snowfalls, temperatures will rise to +5°C

There will be snowfalls all over Moldova of January 18 and 19 following a front associated with an Atlantic cyclone that is crossing the country, Gennady Roșca, head of the State Hydrometeorological Service’s Forecasts Division, has told IPN.

The cold air masses will leave gradually starting with January 21. Nighttime temperatures will oscillate between -1 and -6°C, while daytime ones will vary around 0°C.

On January 21, there will be -5…-8 °C at night and – 0 …+3°C during the day in northern Moldova. In the southern districts, nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between -3 and -6 °C, while daytime ones between +2 and +5°C.

Rain is forecast for January 24.
