Attending the same program, Dorin Chirtoaca said a direct involvement in the work of the Alliance for European Integration at central level would be logical only if things in Chisinau improve. “For the residents of Chisinau to be satisfied, the situation should improve significantly. Otherwise, the people may regard this coming out of the shadow with distrust,” said Dorin Chirtoaca. Asked by Info-Prim Neo several hours earlier to comment on the exit poll results, Anatol Taranu said they point to a political polarization in Chisinau. “The fact that the turnout in Chisinau exceeded 50% is good, while this polarization makes the people more active,” said Anatol Taranu.
