“A lot of people ask themselves how the Democratic Party will act after November 28. We assure you that we will act in the same way as we did last year, when we had to bring about changes in this country and give the young people what they wanted – a change and a democratic government,” the secretary general of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) Valeriu Lazar said during electoral debates on the public TV channel Moldova 1, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the party’s press service. According to Valeriu Lazar, the PDM will act the same way. “It is clear that the Democratic Party will play the same important role of inclining the balance in a direction or another,” Lazar said. ”We will not yet allow not including a very solid Social-Democrat component in the program of the future government, which will lay emphasis on social cohesion. We will insist only on two things – the government’s work must be coordinated by a Social-Democrat team with a very solid social component, and we will not accept populism and monopolization of the administration by our party and the parties that will form part of the future coalition.”
