After elections, 2/3 of population will live with mayors controlled from outside, Ștefan Gligor

The general local elections are compromised by criminal groups that coordinate very well their actions, while the state institutions do not cope, said the leader of the Party of Change Ștefan Gligor. According to him, 2/3 of Moldova’s population after the elections will live with mayors controlled from outside.

In a news conference hosted by IPN, the party’s leader said he hoped a lot that the intelligence services of Moldova, the Commission for Exceptional Situations, the Central Election Commission, the district electoral councils and the investigation and law enforcement bodies will take steps to thwart the special operation that is now being conducted in the country.

“The situation is exceptionally serious and I warn you that after the upcoming local elections, 2/3 of the population of the Republic of Moldova will live under political projects conducted and controlled by organized crime that is trained and instructed from outside the Republic of Moldova. First of all, we refer to the intelligence services of the Russian Federation which we suspect, based on possible and impossible reasonable allegations, of financing and maintaining control over the main criminal groups of the Republic of Moldova,” stated Ștefan Gligor.

According to him, the Shor criminal group learned the lesson after its candidates were excluded from the electoral competition at previous elections. Now they have clone parties and so-called independent candidates who will substitute election contenders if these are eliminated. In the municipality of Balti, there are a series of candidates controlled by this grouping. Representatives of the outlawed Shor Party unrestrictedly accompany the candidates at meetings with voters.

“Also, Moroșan Maxim was detached to the municipality of Balti by the criminal group Caramalac, on the instructions of the federal service. This is an extremely dubious man who is directly affiliated to Caramalac. I want to say that when I started to speak about the fact that the Caramalac group is involved in the local elections in Balti, Grigore Caramalac tried to contact me and to influence me as they needed. The same Moroșan tried to contact me to persuade me at any cost to abandon candidate Nicolae Grigorishin,” stated Ștefan Gligor.

He noted that the Central Election Commission delays the elimination from the local elections of representatives of organized crime, first of all of the criminal group Shor, which regrouped very quickly, and also the candidates of the Caramalac group. These have access to limitless illegal financing, of tens of millions of euros.

The leader of the Party of Chance demanded that the electoral bodies should exclude the representatives of the criminal groups Shor and Caramalac from the electoral competition.
