AEI is in panic, Communist lawmaker

Communist MP Artur Reshetnikov considers that the Alliance for European Integration is in panic. He referred to the zero degree meeting called by Prime Minister Vlad Filat, where he asked mobilizing the law enforcement bodies for March 16, when presidential elections will take place, Info-Prim Neo reports. Contacted by phone within the program “Fabrica” on Publika TV, Artur Reshetnikov said that such actions make the situation in society tense. “It seems that the Premier is afraid of the people. I believe that Vlad Filat opened the cabinets and took out certain scenarios dating from 2005. He now remembered those plans,” said the Communist lawmaker. Artur Reshetnikov assured that all the protests that will involve sympathizers of the PCRM will be peaceful. “I personally discussed with the law enforcement bodies and asked ensuring public order. All the polls show to those who are in power that they should resign,” he stated. He also said that the leaders of the AEI play Russian roulette. He considers that if the head of state is elected, the situation will not change. The presidential elections will be held in Parliament on March 16. One candidate for the presidency was registered officially. All the 58 MPs of the AEI signed in support of Nicolae Timofti. The Communists said they will come to Parliament on Friday with 20,000 people who are dissatisfied with the fact that the ruling alliance usurps the power.
