AEI got stuck in its own intrigues, Mihai Godea
Unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea said the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) got stuck in its own intrigues and games. According to him, the main problems are the distrust, ambitions, thirst for power, envy and lack of vision within the alliance, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The presidential candidate and solution finding games became absurd. Everyone realizes that the obstacles to unlocking the political crisis do not reside in the Constitution, the legislation, the intransigent opposition or in the weather. The major obstacles are the envy and thirst for power. These human vices make our political class unable to solve this and other problems and hinder the implementation of reforms and the fulfillment of the promises made to the people and the effort made on the path to European integration,” the MP said in the Parliament’s sitting.
Mihai Godea accused the alliance of preferring to hide the head in the sand instead of responsibly addressing the problems. He stressed that the AEI can count on him only when it adopts a serious approach in this respect. “As an MP, I will promote the interests of the people and the views and goals set together with my colleagues from the Democratic Action Party. Everyone is free to follow one’s way. I think my way is the right one,” he stated.
