AED donates equipment and goods

The work of the Project Strengthening the Civil Society's Monitoring Capacities in Moldova, implemented by the Academy for Educational Development (AED) Moldova, finishes on March 31, 2009. In relation to this, the AED donates its goods to eligible organizations from Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. The non-governmental organizations and /or media, registered on the territory of Moldova, having institutional experience and interest for projects promoting transparency, anti-corruption activities, strengthening the civil society and media and are experienced in the area for at least 2 years are eligible. The program partners, the organizations which benefited from grants and/or other technical, financial and training assistance and the program partners which have not received equipment from the program will be given priority. The grantees are to send a confirmation letter for the requested goods to the AED/Moldova, explaining at large the usefulness and the way of using these goods. They must also attach the executive report for 2008, indicating the managed funds. The requests can be sent by e-mail to office@ade.md or Stefan cel Mare boulevard, 202, 8th floor till the end of the day [ February 20, 2009]. The organizations that will get donations are responsible for all logistic arrangements connected to lifting and transporting the goods and will cover all afferent expenses. The list of goods can be accessed on the web site of AED – www.ade.md. The project Strengthening the Civil Society's Monitoring Capacities in Moldova is implemented by the Academy of Educational Development, financed by the Millennium Challenges Corporation (MCC) within the Country Threshold Plan of Moldova (TCP) and managed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
