Deputy Prime Minister for Social Matters Gheorghe Brega proposed banning the advertising activities of representatives of pharmaceutical companies inside health facilities. The issue was discussed in a public meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Health and public associations of medical workers and pharmacists, IPN reports.

According to the Government’s press service, Gheorghe Brega instructed to set up two working groups that should present proposals for improving the Deontological Code of the Medical Worker and Pharmacist and the regulations concerning the ethical promotion of drugs in 14 days and 30 days respectively.
