Adriana Sosnovski continues to show good results at the ITF Pro Circuit tournament hosted by Chisinau. The 18-year-old player eliminated Serbia’s Tamara Curovic, who takes the 696th position in the WTA rankings and won two tournaments of the series of those with prize money of US$10,000, IPN reports.
Sosnovski won the game after 1 hour and 33 minutes of play by 6-4, 6-3. The daughter of the coach of Milsami Adrian Sosnovski has lost no set so far at the competition organized by the Specialized Tennis Sports School. This evening, Adriana will compete in the doubles together with Russia’s Elina Nepliy against the Russian pair Alexandra Dubrovina - Ekaterina Vishnevskaya.
In singles, Romanian player Georgia Andreea Craciun also qualified for the quarterfinals after easily beating Kyra Shroff of India 6-1, 6-0. In the next stage, Craciun will meet the winner of the game that will involve Moldova’s Alexandra Perper and Ukraine’s Oleksandra Andrieieva.
