Admission to Romanian schools and universities begin July 22
Young Moldovans who want to continue their studies in Romanian schools or universities can submit their applications at the Romanian diplomatic missions in Chisinau, Cahul and Balti between July 22 and August 1, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Ministry of Education.
According to Ludmila Pavlov, the head of the division for international relations and European integration, the joint admission committee will start off in Cahul.
For the 2012-2013 academic year, the Romanian government offered the Moldovan citizens 5000 scholarships. 1500 are for pupils and 2800 are for undergraduate university studies, including 390 places in the extensions of Romanian universities in Cahul and Balti. Moldovans holders of Romanian bachelor’s degrees are offered 550 scholarships for master’s degree studies, 25 residency scholarships and 125 for PhD studies.
