Judoka Adil Osmanov was eliminated from the Cadet World Championships, which are taking place in Santiago, Chile. He was bested in the 55 kg category by Tunisia’s Aleddine Ben Chalbi, IPN reports.

Today, August 10, Petru Pelivan will take on Macedonia’s Hamza Jashari in the 66 kg. Pelivan has previously won the silver medal at the European Youth Olympics Festival in Gyor.

On Friday, Eugen Matveiciuc will join the contest in the 81 kg category, against Brazils Nuciano Santos Junior. Matveiciuc won the bronze medal in Gyor.
