Additional train to optimize transportation of Ukrainian refugees put on route

An additional train will run on the Chisinau-Iasi-Chisinau route as from March 4 to optimize the transportation of Ukrainian refugees, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, posted on his Telegram channel.

On one day, the train will depart from Chisinau at 9:45am and will arrive in Iasi at 14:24am. On another day, the train will set off from Iasi at 11:40am and will get to Chisinau at 16:05pm.

Tickets for this train can be bought at the ticket offices of the Railway Terminal in Chisinau starting with March 4, 8am. They cost 90, 100 and 130 lei, depending on class. In Romania, tickets can be purchased directly from train conductors.

When in Iasi, the passengers will be provided with free transport to and from the Iasi International Airport and from the Socola Station to the Central Station.

Also, Moldova’s Railways today operates a special Căușeni-Iasi (Socola) train route. The train left Căușeni at 02:30am and will arrive in Iasi at 9:20am.

Andrei Spînu noted the special train route Moghilev Podolsk –Iasi (Socola) was stopped.
