“On Sunday, February 24, it will the moment when the Republic of Moldova will count its free, decent, honest and courageous people. It will be the historical moment of release from the dictatorship of a regime that keeps the country in the darkness,” the leaders of the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS stated in a news conference on the last week of the election campaign, IPN reports.
The leader of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Andrei Năstase, co-president of the bloc, said on February 24 we should all think of what we went through during all these years and should ask ourselves how we want life to look like. This Sunday is one of the days when the country needs all its people gathered around the wish for freedom. The politician called on the voters to go and vote and promised them they will make sure the state and the government respect the people and are afraid of them.
“We offer you a country where no none and never, regardless of how it is called, could turn Moldova into what Plahotniuc, Dodon, Shor and their occupation armies turned it during so many years. We call on you to stand up and take our country back,” stated Andrei Năstase.
The leader of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Maia Sandu, co-president of the bloc, said the current government hates the Moldovan land and the people of this country as only those who hate can treat the country this way, making life impossible and disseminating hared. The government knows that the Republic of Moldova is poor and this suits it as it can thus control a weak country with poor people driven to despair.
“If they remain in power, blackmailing, threats and terror will only grow. Think well as today they will leave you alone because you signed for them and voted for them, but tomorrow they will need more. On February 24, the elections will not be simple. They will struggle to keep their property and to avoid jail,” stated Maia Sandu.
The electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS runs in elections in the national constituency under No. 2. It has 51 candidates in single-member constituencies.
