The political bloc ACUM has taken note of the results of the PSRM National Council meeting and will prepare a response in good time, said MP Mihai Popșoi, vice president of the PAS party. He told IPN that ACUM’s two component parties, PAS and PDA, need to consult and come forward with a common position.
“So far we have just taken note. Later we will come up with declaration. I doubt we will manage to do this today, but in good time, immediately after we consult and have a common position of the bloc”, said Mihai Popșoi.
Following the meeting of the PSRM National Council earlier today, the party’s informal leader Igor Dodon said the Socialists would agree to either a full-fledged parliamentary coalition with ACUM, “definitely not a minority (government)”, or have snap elections. “The option of a coalition with the PDM has not been discussed today”, said Dodon.
