On National Actors Day, marked on December 27, President Igor Dodon issued a decree to confer state distinctions and honorary titles on eighteen stage actors in recognition of their “remarkable merits to the development and promotion of the art of theater”
Labor Glory Orders were offered to Anatol Arcea and Clavdia Osadceaia, members of the Theater Union of Moldova, and to Igor Taran, actor at the Tiraspol Drama and Comedy Theater.
Honorary titles of People’s Artist were conferred on the actor and director of the Theater “Alexei Mateevici” Nicolae Jelescu and to the “Eugene Ionesco” Theater Ala Vutcărău and Andrei Sochircă.
Honorary titles of Master of Arts were offered to Lucia Galac, member of the Theater Union, and to Gheorghe Mândru, actor and the Cahul Music and Drama Theater “B. P. Hasdeu”.
Honorary titles of Artist Emeritus were conferred to Tudor Andriuţă, actor at “B. P. Hasdeu” Theater, and to the Tiraspol Theater actors Dmitri Ahmadiev, Olga Cecan, Natalia Galatonova and Ion Furnică.
Further Master of Arts titles were given to Daniela Burlaca, director at “Geneza Art” Theater, Ruslana Goncearova, actor at Chekhov State Theater, Olga Savelieva, actor at the “С Улицы Роз” Theater, Ludmila Tulcinskaia, actor at the Tiraspol Theater, and Arcadie Răcilă, actor at “Satiricus I.L. Caragiale” Theater.
