A number of activities will be carried out in all the universities of Moldova to celebrate the International Youth Day and the International Student Day on November 11 – 17. An order to this effect was made by the Ministry of Education, IPN reports.

The plan of action includes conferences, scientific seminars and public debates as well as sports competitions that are intended not only for students. The rectors will be able to take part in the Rector’s Football Cup that will be held on the sports ground of the State Agrarian University of Moldova.

There will be organized trips to picturesque places of Moldova. Students of the Military Academy “Stefan cel Mare” will stage the Musical Traditions Festival. The Academy, in concert with the Teacher Training University “Ion Creanga”, will organize musical soirées, while the State University of Physical Education and Sport will hold Moldova’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup.

The International Youth Day has been celebrated in Moldova since 2010, on November 11-17. The International Student Day is marked on November 17.
