The Security School of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations on June 1 hosted a number of activities intended for children. As part of the program staged on the occasion of the International Children’s Day, the children took part in interactive contests and enjoyed surprises and recreational activities. They could also examine the exhibited rescue and firefighting vehicles, IPN reports.
At the Security School based in Botanica district, representatives of a number of subdivisions of the Inspectorate, such as rescuers, frogmen and kinologists, came to interact with children, who could also see the stairs used by firemen to extinguish fires in tall buildings.
On the International Children’s Day, rescuers of the Căușeni Division for Exceptional Situation decided to take presents to families where children were born as a result of rescue missions. Among the children is a boy aged four from Tocuz village of Căușeni district, who was born in the spring of 2017 after rescue teams managed to tow away from snowdrifts the ambulance that was taking his mother to the maternity hospital.
