Action plan to increase investments in youth area

A working group consisting of MPs, representatives of the Government and non-governmental youth organizations, will develop an action plan to increase investments in the youth field, as well as to develop services for young people and opportunities for personal and professional development. In this regard, a web platform has been launched on which young people can fill out a form, and as a result be involved in consultations on youth issues, IPN reports.

The deputy Dinu Plângau noted at a press conference that the International Youth Day is celebrated today. The recent consultations with several youth organizations revealed a series of problems faced by young people. "We will choose 2020 to be the year in which the priorities of young people are at the top of the agenda and will encourage and support the Government in assuming a clear and ambitious agenda so that young people could see a future here at home. We will support a budget increase for programs aimed at youth, the extension of the existing programs, if they prove to be efficient, and the development of new programs and solutions”, Perciun Dan, deputy in the PAS group, ACUM Bloc, mentioned.Dan Perciun also said that it is appropriate to support young entrepreneurs - through extension programs to existing grant programs. It is also necessary to provide access to housing and support for young families etc.

"We are launching the countz.pasyouth.md platform to serve as a support for consulting young people across the country.
