Acting Prime Minister invited to Parliament next week

Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi and representatives of ministries will be invited to attend the next sitting of Parliament. Such a request was made by the MP of the Dignity and Truth Platform Alexandru Slusari in the March 26 sitting of the legislature, IPN reports.

According to him, the representatives of the Cabinet should provide information about the pandemic situation and management of the crisis and about the economic and budgetary situation. “The month of April is full of costs - for pensioners, indexation. We are concerned about the borrowing pace on the domestic market. Almost 6 billion lei has been borrowed so far. On March 31, a tender contest will be held with the borrowing of another 2 billion lei. We know that the banks satisfy half of the Ministry of Finance’s necessities and we can expect the interest rates to rise,” stated Alexandru Slusari.

According him, the situation has worsened and the MPs should know how the public affairs are managed.

The Secretariat is to transmit the MP’s invitation to the Government.
