Acting President promises children clothes, footwear and trips to picturesque places
Acting President Mihai Ghimpu told the 32 children from Nemteni, who were lodged at the summer camp “Ciresarii” in Vadul lui Voda, that their parents and relatives will visit them the coming weekend, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the presidential press service.
“All the children from the flood-hit areas will benefit from material support, psychological assistance and medical care. Certainly, they are eager to return home. We will make sure that this happens as soon as possible,” Mihai Ghimpu said while on a working visit to the camp “Ciresarii”.
The head of state promised the children they will go on trips to Chisinau and other picturesque places in Moldova the next days. “The children will be provided with clothes and footwear the coming days,” Mihai Ghimpu added.
More than 60,000 children from the flood-stricken Hancesti district were accommodated at summer camps.
