The members of the Acting Cabinet came together for a meeting of the Governmental Commission for European Integration to approve the updated plan of action for implementing the Association Agreement between Moldova and the EU, IPN reports.

The updated plan of action includes the adjustments needed for carrying out the measures stipulated in the Association Agreement, taking into account the results achieved during the first months of the coming into force of the accord and the recommendations made by the European partners.

According to the Government’s press service, it was agreed the list of high-level European advisers who will help reform the major sectors for implementing the Association Agreement starting with January 1, 2016. In the financial, banking and corruption fighting sectors, the advisers are to start work in the nearest future. The selection procedure has been already launched.

The Commission also decided to allow public access to the online platform for reporting on the plan of action, which enables to see the implementation level of each measure apart and the general progress made in putting the accord into practice.
