The cases remitted to the Rascani district court of Chisinau are examined in accordance with the instructions of the court’s president Oleg Melniciuc, said lawyer Vitalie Taulean. He stated that he possesses a multitude of illegal judgments passed by order of this judge and he will inform the head of state and the Premier about them.
“I will formulate a complaint about this to the President and Prime Minister because I often hear them speaking about corruption and I realize that they make statements without really knowing what the essence of corruption resides in,” the lawyer said in a news conference at IPN.
Vitalie Taulean referred to agreements between judges, which result in the passing of illegal sentences by which the rights and interests of the people are violated. The acts of corruption also reside in the lack of attitude to the acts of these judges.
“The judges continue to believe that they act correctly, while other judges from upper courts continue to hush the criminal acts of these judges up. This is the top problem in Moldova,” stated Vitalie Taulean.
He noted that not even during the Stalinist regime were the rights of those who stood trial so grossly violated. “The oath taken by the judges now cost less than the thirty pieces of silver for which Jesus Christ was betrayed,” said the lawyer.
According to Vitalie Taulean, the prosecutors and judges violate the oath they take and nobody asks them why they do not obey the Constitution and do not respect people’s rights.
