Accounts of SA Termocom will be unfrozen
The accounts of the Chisinau heat supplier SA Termocom are to be unblocked on May 10. The announcement was made by the company’s director Mihail Cernei in Tuesday’s meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Mihail Cernei said the accounts will be unfrozen following a letter of guarantee provided by Termocom, whereby the company pledges to pay the debts to its suppliers by this November. On May 6, there was signed a memorandum between SA Termocom, the thermoelectric plants (CETs), SA Moldovagaz, the Chisinau City Hall, and the Ministry of Economy.
”I hope the accounts will be unblocked today and we will be able to start preparations for the 2011-2012 heating season. The freezing of the accounts prevented us from achieving the set objectives,” said Mihail Cernei.
Earlier, Mihai Cernei said 45 million lei was forcibly withdrawn from the company’s accounts. The bailiffs’ honorarium totaled over 1.3 million lei. Termocom’s historical debts of 1.5 billion lei were accumulated in 2002-2008.
