Five persons were killed in two traffic accidents that happened on the Chisinau-Ungheni and Chisinau-Soroca roads on December 17, Traffic Police Division spokeswoman Dana Andronic stated for Info-Prim Neo. A car tried to overtake another vehicle near Braviceni district of Orhei district and collided head-on with an evacuator. The man and his wife traveling in the car died on the spot, while their child of only one year died on the way to the hospital. A land rover collided head-on with a VAZ 2105 near Straseni. Two persons were killed and another two seriously injured.
