A 19-year-old man was taken to the Emergency Hospital after he broke his arm in the bicycle show given in the Great National Assembly Square. A man aged 20 fell off his motorcycle on the Schinoasa Hill during the final stage of the Central European Motorcycle Championships. He received first aid on the spot and did not need hospitalization. The same day, a 59-year-old man and his three children aged 30, 33 and 36 suffered food poisoning at a wedding party and were taken to the infectious diseases hospital “Toma Ciorba”. A girl aged 14 suffering from epilepsy took pills in order to kill herself. It was her second suicide attempt. A 26-year-old man from Cricova tried to commit suicide by hanging himself. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 615 calls, including 51 cases of acute viral infection, 61 cases of trauma, five strokes, a heart attack and 18 deliveries.
