Four persons were taken to the Telenești District Hospital with injuries after a car crashed into an ambulance near Budăi village of Telenești district at about 10:20am on November 22.

Asked by IPN to provide details, press officer of the Telenești Police Inspectorate Diana Maxim said the car that was travelling to Telenești didn’t have winter tires on all the wheels. At a turn, the driver lost control of the car and this entered the contraflow lane, hitting an ambulance that was moving regularly, travelling from Telenești to Budăi.

As a result of the accident, both of the drivers and two doctors were rushed to the Telenești District Hospital. Contacted by IPN, the hospital’s medical vice director Ștefan Gori said the driver of the ambulance and the doctors will follow ambulatory treatment. The other driver is in a cerebral coma and suffered a severe cranial-cerebral trauma and a concussion. He was admitted to the intensive care section.
