The Government approved a bill on the access to property and divided usage of infrastructure associated with public electronic communications networks, IPN reports.
The document is designed to contribute to the development of the public electronic communications networks at national level and to increase investments in infrastructure and competition between the suppliers of electronic communications networks and services.
“The project simplifies and clarifies the procedures for obtaining and exercising the right of access to public or private property and encourages the divided usage of infrastructure associated with the public electronic communications networks. By laying down clear principles for determining the tariffs charged for allowing access to property, the costs of building, maintaining, replacing or relocating public electronic communications networks will be reduced, “Deputy ICT Minister Vitalie Tarlev said in the Government’s meeting.
The bill on the access to property and divided usage of infrastructure associated with public electronic communications networks was drafted in accordance with the roadmap for improving competitiveness in Moldova and the national plan of action for implementing the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union.
