Access to prisons without masks banned

Foreigners' access to penitentiaries during November 13 – November 23 will be allowed only with protection masks. The short and long meetings have been suspended. The ordinance was issued by Minister of Justice Alexandru Tanase and is aimed at preventing the spread of the pandemic influenza A (H1N1), Info-Prim Neo reports. The persons infected with pandemic flu and those who have pandemic flu-like symptoms will be isolated temporarily – the detainees in isolators of the medical services, while the Department of Penitentiary Institutions' employees at home – and supervised by the family doctors, the Ministry of Justice says in a communique. No case of pandemic flu has been recorded in Moldova's prisons by November 13.
