Access to Corjova polling station has been blocked
Unidentified persons early this morning have blocked the access to the polling station no.5 located inside Eminescu Lyceum in Corjova village, barring the conducting of elections, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Central Election Commission Secretary Iurie Ciocan.
The Commission is expressing its deep concern about this case of severe violation of the Moldovan Constitution and is considering relocating the polling station from Corjova.
Corjova village is located on the eastern bank of the Nistru River but is considered to be under the authority of the Moldovan constitutional government.
Nearly 2,000 polling places have opened at 7:00 AM across the country to 2.62 million eligible voters.
