Access to Chisinau parks to be restricted after 11pm

The visitors’ access to parks in Chisinau could be restricted after 11pm. Such a proposal was formulated by the administration of the municipal enterprise “Green Areas Association” in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.

The enterprise’s acting manager Victoria Covali said the municipality invested large sums in the laying out of parks and all the works should be protected. In this regard, measures will be taken for each park apart and work programs will be adopted for them. Now the access to parks is unrestricted and some of the visitors behave inappropriately. Accessible entrances should be built, but these should ensure greater control.

Deputy mayor Ilie Ceban said that a man entered a park in Chisinau by his car a week ago. The access to parks for private units of transport should be banned, while the vehicles that supply goods to kiosks situated in parks should be allowed to enter before 6am, for example.

The deputy mayor asked to renew the informative boards at entrances and to place the map of the park with all the access ways on these.
