The pilot project to sign individual contracts with the owners of residential buildings managed by municipal housing sector managing enterprise No. 7, which was launched by “Apă-Canal Chisinau” SA (ACC) at the end of September, envisions also the installation of water meters with remote meter reading devices in apartments. The project has been 34% implemented, IPN reports.

The installed meters are integrated into the system for the collection and transmission of data to the concentrator through the LoRaWan module. The last receives data if the concentrator is situated within 15 km on a straight line, without obstacles. The transmitted data are seen and analyzed in the web application with interactive interface.

The water supplier said the procedure for signing contracts width owners of apartments managed by municipal housing sector managing enterprise No. 7 is not accidental. This enterprise is the only municipal enterprise of the 23 enterprises of the kind operating in Chisinau that is not under insolvency.

In a meeting chaired by ACC commercial director Andrei Șaptefraț, it was noted that some of the dwellers of the blocks included in the project delay the presentation of the necessary documents even if they were informed about the implementation of the project. “”Apă-Canal Chisinau” calls on them to submit the document to the Commercial and Customer Assistance Center and to the municipal housing sector managing enterprise. The necessary documents include the completed application form, a copy of the apartment ownership or lease documents and of identification papers.
