The Chisinau water supplier said the company’s workers intervene swiftly to remove leakages regardless of the type of weather and even when it is a holiday and on the weekend, IPN reports, quoting a press release of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” (ACC).

On January 11, the company’s employees dealt with 35 water pipe accidents, including leakages under the asphalt and under earth. The works in residential quarters, besides the low temperatures and snow, were also hampered by motor vehicles parked illegally there. Patrolling inspectors were asked to intervene.

According to ACC, on January 10 there were fixed 39 problems in water networks, with the water supply being disconnected at a number of addresses. In 54 cases, there were unblocked sewer pipes.
